Timber Creek Large Hardwood Vanity Tray

Timber Creek Large Hardwood Vanity Tray

The Timber Creek tray is crafted from solid African mahogany with a hand-poured blue epoxy river running through the grain, giving each piece its own one-of-a-kind pattern. Raised on small feet, it's built as a vanity catch-all — razors, rings, watches, whatever needs a spot. A handmade hardwood piece finished with tung oil that works as well on a dresser as it does in the bathroom.

Each Wild Timber hardwood vanity tray is built by hand from a carefully selected mix of premium hardwoods, with every piece offering its own unique grain, color, and character. Some designs are crafted entirely from wood, while others incorporate colored epoxy as part of the build. A pair of dark hardwood runners underneath slightly elevates the tray from the counter, giving it a more refined, finished presence. Each piece is treated with food-safe tung oil to protect the wood and bring out its natural depth and richness. While these trays can certainly hold bar soap, they are not designed specifically as soap dishes; they’re intended to serve as statement pieces that elevate the look and feel of a bathroom vanity, whether used for grooming products, cologne, candles, soaps, or other everyday essentials. Prolonged exposure to moisture, soap residue, oils, or other products may affect the finish over time, and wet soap can make the surface slippery, allowing the bar to slide or fall.

What Makes Ours Different?

Every scent needs somewhere to sit. Our soap trays and crates are handmade from real domestic hardwoods like walnut and maple, plus the occasional exotic import when we find something worth using. Each one is built to effeciently drain water as well as look nice sitting next to your sink. Your bar lasts longer instead of turning to mush in a puddle. We've also got a few plastic options for anyone who wants function without the coolness of solid wood.

What Inspires Our Bars?

Every scent starts with somewhere real like a trailhead, a lake, a stretch of highway. Alpine Meadow, Sierra Sunrise, Emerald Bay Pine. These aren't invented names, they're places worth remembering, translated into a bar of soap. We'd rather build a scent around Tuolumne Meadows than a marketing team's idea of "fresh linen." If you've been somewhere that stuck with you, there's a decent chance we've tried to bottle something like it.

Proudly Made in America

Wild Timber is a father-son operation based in St. Louis, Missouri. No overseas manufacturing, no importing a base and slapping a label on it — every batch starts and ends in the same workshop. Made in America isn't a sticker here. It's the whole operation.

What's Inside

Every bar starts with a cold-process base of olive, coconut, and shea, no synthetic fragrance, no dyes, no filler. Scent and character come from real plant-based ingredients that are ethically sourced. Cured for 6+ weeks before it ships, for a bar that lasts longer and lathers better than the fast stuff.
